Soo… as you probably noticed we haven’t blogged in a long, looong time. The thing is we didn't abandon our beloved food blog, catwithaknife. The truth is we tried to film new content a few times but we just picked the wrong time to start our blogging journey.
This year Peter has a very intense schedule with his last year of residency in hospital where he’s working and it’s connected to many businesses trips. So with our blogging and his work we had problems with time, his energy levels and ofc stress because there is always something to deal with about organizing these things. But we wanted to start anyway because I was thinking - hey! I have a free time and I can do a lot by myself. Sadly, I didn't expect there would be problems with me… but as it turned out there was.
So a little back story is needed… On December 2017 I had urgent spine surgery and since then I was dealing with chronic pain. There were days I was ok and there were days I wasn't. Sometimes I had energy to rule the world and sometimes I couldn't take a shower (BTW good thing - our water bills went down!😹)… Anyhoo I didn't expect this year to have so many bad days and unfortunately last months was much worse. I had to come back to using cane, had to invent some wild poses for bathroom time and even needed some help to get up from bed or couch in the worst time. But let's cut to the point…
A few days ago I received news from my neurologist that I need a surgery and now it's official - no hoping or dreaming of getting better in few days. I hope my recovery won’t be as long as from my first surgery (it took me over 6 months to normally walk again), but we will see. I know only one thing…
…I need to officially inform you guys we will take a temporary break from blogging but will be back as soon as possible😺
But there's also a good news💙 I can't create food blog content but I still can read and use my tablet in bed/on couch. So I decided to use this time for two thing - learning about cooking and blogging and also doodling🍳🎬🎨
